Moving on to @thegrampians as the next region to showcase for @visitmelbourne as part of the ‘Stay Close. Go further’ campaign was a dream for us. One of Victoria’s most understated regions full of boutiques - of you’ve never gotten around to going, this will probably encourage you to take the leap.

Meeting Em and Kel of @terra.thelabel for this piece was nothing short of pure joy. Thanks girls, and to the whole team for helping to bottle up your passion for kindness to the planet and the beautiful work you do with the label.

Context: As a part of the same water hazards campaign for @kidsafevic (as our previous posts) we also had the chance to take a more lighthearted approach with Olympic swimmer Matt Welsh and his children Monty and Lola.

Working with @kidsafevic to tell heartbreaking stories like Ash’s is bitter-sweet. No parent should ever have to go through anything by like this, but we can only hope that telling the story as it went down can raise awareness around the importance of supervising children around water hazards. Ash, you are a beautiful soul, and thanks so much for sharing.

Working with @kidsafevic to interview these three brave women about their traumatic experiences with children around water hazards was nothing short of heartbreaking. But although it was harrowing to piece these edits together, along with the statistics we aim to shape, it was rewarding too. Cathartic, even.

One of our founders @sarahhickey.tv managed to squeeze out a music video for her side project @glittertearsmusic just in time for New Years. A self-directed/produced and edited project, ‘Dance It Off’ was executed with a small crew of epic collaborators - but the clip is a BIG vibe. Follow @glittertearsmusic and set a reminder for 9am on the 28th December to watch the clip when it goes live. It’s a great way to flip the bird to 2020/2021, and “Dance It Off”.

As another year of highs and lows comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on yet another crazy year. It’s just nuts to think that the vast majority of our work has been done within the last 3 months, but that our team has somehow managed to churn out more than a year’s worth of work during this time.

We can’t wait to share everything with you as we head into the new year, there certainly will be plenty of it.

To our team, who continue to take this turbulent Covid world in their stride, thank you for doing it with grace and a smile. It hasn’t been easy, but you do a great job of making it look so.

To our clients, thanks for being patient with us while all of the work was layered right on top of one another. We’ve been blessed with epic collaborators in 2021.

And to everyone else going through the same (or similar) we hope you get to take some kind of break, hug a loved one, eat something naughty, and bust a move into the New year. Bring on 2022. We ready xx

Our new Executive Producer JC has a wealth of creative leadership, agency/business management and animation production knowledge under his belt, and we can’t wait to hit the ground running with him as we continue to embrace @monsterandbear’s growth into 2022! Welcome aboard you good thing.
