KIMBERLY SUMMER

Kim is a director whose work highlights diverse stories in vibrant and engaging ways. As a dancer in her previous life, her work is hands-on, fast paced and energetic. She focuses on creating environments that are supportive and fun, allowing talent and crew to play. For lack of better terms - she brings a vibe. Her folio is a balance of fashion (MFW, Virgin Fashion Festival, Champion), brand content and commercials (AFL, Sexyland) as well as not-for-profit work (L2R Dance, Wire , CSIRO).

After a decade working across multiple roles in commercial film and television, she now focuses on directing commercial and movement-based film works. Her experiences in community work, marketing and large productions means she can adapt to different situations. Kim’s works have been screened internationally (CAN/FRA/SPA) via film festivals, conferences and recently at COP2022.
