MONSTER & BEAR CELEBRATES 10TH BIRTHDAY WITH REBRAND!

You might know Monster & Bear as a Melbourne-based production company specialising in TVCs, branded content and even the occasional narrative series.

But heading into 2024, Monster & Bear are rebranding as a creative content agency, with a bolstered team and a more specialised director’s roster. They also offer new services in the branding, strategy and distribution of content in the multi-platform arena.

Monster Bear Team 2023

But what makes this content agency, known for live action film and animation, one of the must-known for brands and partner agencies in 2024 is that they blend the best of both worlds. They apply their abilities as a production company, and comprehension of how brand and digital strategy need to play in the content campaign space.

Our team and offerings are the strongest they have ever been. While we’ve been a high-end production company for many years now, the last decade has seen us hone our area of expertise in narrative storytelling, and how that seamlessly blends with brand and marketing objectives” says company founder Sarah Hickey.

One thing I’ve learned from the last ten years is that amazing content is only possible when it’s a product derived from amazing collaboration. I honestly get gushy when I speak to anyone about our current team, because they are so on the pulse, willing to have the hard conversations, and work so cleverly and collaboratively with our clients. The outcome is so often a direct result of their willingness to see that relationship as a partnership.

With a rapidly growing internal team of creative and art directors, producers, production managers and a full post-production/animation team, the scope of works that can be achieved by this team is wildly impressive. Add into the mix eight specialist directors on their official roster, and even more within their expanded network, it’s a no-brainer that Monster & Bear are producing content that stops viewers in their tracks.

Heading into 2023, Monster & Bear says they will be seeking ongoing relationships with brands and marketing experts.

In particular, a partnership delves deep into the core of a brand while we provide tailored solutions to ongoing film, animation, TVC and digital campaign needs.

So what does the rebrand mean exactly?

1. NEW LOGO

Monster & Bear, the video production company, was always a brand that focussed on cinematic film and video content, and rocked a sleek geometric . However, with the diversifying of the brand to now be a full service creative content agency, we are embracing the brand name with an adult-pants logo and type font.

2. MORE ANIMATION

While we’ve been dipping our toes in the world of animation in video for many years now, it’s time we embrace this as a specialised area of our offerings so that clients and customers know we are serious about the imaginative world of animation for TVCs and branded content.

3. EXPANDED DIRECTOR’S ROSTER

An expanded director’s roster: With a diversified portfolio and diversified content production capabilities, comes the need for even more specialised directors to speak to the high quality content we’re producing in multiple genres and styles.

Last but not least, our in-house team is more kick-ass than ever! From digital strategists, writers, directors, producers, creative directors and art directors and production managers, right through to post-production management, editors, VFX artists, animators and motion graphics artists to name a few.
