We used to joke that Sam had a smouldering boy-band face in any behind the scenes photo he appeared in back in the day. These days, @s.k.mccarthy rocks the edit suite and - in our opinion - is one of the most dedicated and honed colourists in Melbourne. Always making our edits look shmicko (and stealing muesli bars from the unit cupboard after a lunchtime gym sesh), Sam is a very valued veteran member of the Monster & Bear team ☺️

We never got around to posting any of our gorgeous frames from the @aflwomens x @wefightforfair “Fair Go” community Series that we did a little way back. A very heartwarming project 🥰. Full clips and credits on our website.

This isn’t our first rodeo. Some of the @monsterandbear team making lockdown look good. Again. Fingers crossed we are back on set in no time. ☺️

We’re sad to see her go from the full-time team but know it won’t be the last time we cross paths. Wishing all the best to @madelineclairefrench as she moves onto life’s next adventure! (But since we’d already animated Maddie’s head and her obsession with tea, plants, acting and baths... we felt the world deserved to see it!)

An official farewell to @jessicagalea and @madelineclairefrench who both ended their M&B chapters this week. Wishing you both all the best on your next adventure/s, all your travels and your well earned career trajectories. You’ll be missed, talented gals!

Next in our Meet The Team animated series is our fresh-faced Hungarian bumblebee Szilvia Kaszaniczky. You’ll see Szilvia floating around the studio in a number of capacities, assisting with @monsterandbearstudios hires, broader productions and overall administration. A graduate from the Sydney Film School, we’re glad to have Szilvia and her vibrant energy on board heading into the adventures of 2021 and beyond.
